I want to lose weight and tone my body so I am interested in buying an elliptical machine. Can anyone tell me the pros and cons..preferably someone that has one? Does it really work? How long/day for results? Any recommended affordable brands? Thanks!

An elliptical machine is very good.
it’s low impact so you’ll save your knees and such versus running on a treadmill (or on pavement).
Get an elliptical that also encompasses your arms, that will give you a full body workout and not just lower body when you’re doing Legs only.
I train on an elliptical whenever I’m on the road for work, and find it gives me a better workout then when I’m running through the woods (I just dont like being in a Gym).
